I've had 5 parakeets since 1997. I originally got one (Bungi) right after I lost my Doberman, Shadow. I wanted to see if I liked birds because I really wanted an African Gray parrot. Had Bungi for a few weeks and then got him a friend, Polo. then I got Pepper, my parrot. I lost Bunji, so got 2 more friends for Polo (Sundance and Sky), then fell in love with this beautiful yellow parakeet (Casper). I lost Bungi and Sky a few years ago, and lost Polo this year.  They are amazingly cheerful to be around!

Casper  (born 1998) - the yellow one - is just gorgeous! I saw him and fell in love with the unusual yellow! When I brought him home, the movie "Starship Troopers" with Casper Van Dein was playing over and over on HBO. I think he's cute, so named my keet after him!
